HOW TO RUN PROGRAMS AS ADMINISTRATOR USING WINDOWS VISTA
Microsoft Vista has introduced a new set of security controls that are intended to make your system more secure. In some cases, it may be necessary to be logged in as the "Administrator" in order to install software. This article describes how to do that.

Run Program as Administrator
Step 1: Right click on the program (.exe file) that you want to run
When you right click on the icon of the program that you want to run, a popup menu should appear as shown below:

Step 2: Select "Run as Administrator"
Select the item "Run as Administrator" from the popup menu as shown above.

Relogin as Adminstrator
Step 1: Log Out
Go to the Start Menu, select "Shut Down" from the popup menu and then select "Log Out" from the dialog box.

Step 2: Log in As Administrator
When you relogin, type "Administrator" for your name (and type in the appropriate password, if any).

Run the program
Double click the program (.exe) icon to run the program. Now that you are logged in as administrator, you should be allowed to run any program that you want to run.
