Description

This simulation shows an animated step from a common medical procedure.

Purpose

This example shows how interactive 3D graphics can be used to more effectively depict medical procedures. This simulation allows the user to view a procedure and to have the ability to pause, restart, and control the speed of the playback as you would in an animation or video. Because Hypercosm applets generate the graphics that they display instead of explicitly storing those images, they can be many times smaller than an equivalent video.
