Description

This is a map of Wisconsin farmland from 1970 through 1999. This map makes visible the overall decline of farmland across the state.

Purpose

The purpose of this map is to educate and to call attention to the trends of land usage in the state of Wisconsin.

Features

• Javascript / HTML integration
  The user interface controls on the left hand side of the page are implemented in Javascript and HTML. These communicate with the Hypercosm applet in order to function together. The benefit of being able to implement content this way is that the HTML / Javascript can be implemented and maintained seperately from the Hypercosm content.
