Sticky Notes

Hypercosm Teleporter Pro for 3ds Max allows you to add sticky notes to your 3D model. Sticky notes allow you to add more text than you could with the text annotation tools. Since the text is only visible when you click on a sticky note, you can add a lot of notes and text information without cluttering up the scene. Since your annotations become part of the 3D scene, they continue to stay with the 3D model when you change your view.

The Sticky Notes Button

Adding Sticky Notes

To use the sticky notes tool, press the sticky notes button and then click on the 3D object where you want to place the note. Placing sticky notes is similar to placing markers except that when you place a note, a dialog box will open where you can type in text for that sticky note. The next time you click on the sticky note, a window will open up displaying this text.

Sticky Note Editing Buttons

Once sticky notes have been added to a model, you can use a set of markup editing controls to modify them. For example, you can delete them or modify their text. These tools allow a collaborative "dialogue" where each person can take turns adding or making changes to an online 3D model and sending their revisions back and forth over email.
