Annotation Tools

Hypercosm Teleporter Pro for 3ds Max allows you to add text annotations and markers to your 3D model. These annotation tools allow you to attach additional information to the model. Since your annotations become part of the 3D scene, they continue to stay with the 3D model when you change your view.

The Annotation Toolbar

The "Add Text" Button

The add text button lets you add text annotation pinned to a 3D location on the model ("leader" text) or you can add text that stays in one place in the window ("screen text"). To add leader text, click on the model and drag out the leader. To add screen text, double click on the model.

The "Add Marker " Button

The "add marker" tool lets you add markers to the scene. When you place markers, you will also be prompted for a hyperlink, which you can use to associate the marker with a URL pointing to a document or a web site.

Annotation Editing Buttons

Once annotations have been added to a model, you can use a set of markup editing controls to modify them. For example, you can erase them or change their colors. These tools allow a collaborative "dialogue" where each person can take turns adding or making changes to an online 3D model and sending their revisions back and forth over email.
